Peter 2001

Peter is also doing very well. He continues to be very solicitous of Grace, so much so that she frequently pushes him away! We had a nasty milestone the other day when we realized that he can reach the VCR, which is on top of the television. Not only is it indicative of how much he's grown (I can remember when he could barely reach the bottom of the TV!), but it also means that he can put a tape in by himself, so we've lost that element of control. But, he still hasn't figured out how to turn the television on, so I guess we're OK for now....



Peter is taking a gymnastics class during school now. So far they've learned jumping jacks, and 'log rolls' (you put you hands over your head and roll on the floor), and will eventually learn somersaults and other things. We were debating between the gymnastics and a music class, and apparently we made the correct decision. When we ask Peter what happens on Thursdays, he grins and says, "I go to Tumbling Tots!!!" in the same tone of voice that is usually reserved for when he gets chocolate.
