Today the firemen came to the school and we got a fire hat and a tattoo.
In music we played with scarves. Not scarves that you wear in the winter, but the different color scarves like the Penguins have in housekeeping. The music teacher would do something and then we would copy it. And then the kids got a turn to do whatever they wanted to do and they had to do it quick because their turns weren't very fast.
We started this thing yesterday and we have a book called scarecrow colors which I did yesterday and today I did something with acorns. We counted them to see how much had caps and how much didn't have caps. And I had six with caps and 1 without caps. And we put them in a bucket of water and we were going to see how many floated and how many sank. All of them floated. And on the sheet of paper where we counted acorns with caps and no caps there was a cup, but we didn't put water in it. It was an outline and we colored water in it. And we drew the acorns that floated in the bucket.
