Today when I got off the school bus I had to go to Zak's house 'cause my Mama wasn't at home. We played a game with a board and a target. And we watched TV.

I went to music and we did a Halloween Rock song. And it was about a black cat who's on a path and joggers that see the cat and they say "Get out of my path".

Today my class went to the Museum of Life and Science. And we went to a class and we learned about Autumn. And we went to Centers there. I went to make a bird center. And there were other centers and I went to one other center. It was the spider web making center. And you could put spiders in you spider webs and you could put insects in them too and you could pretend that the spider caught the insects in his web. And you could put spider egg sacs in the webs, too.

Today in art I made a picture with different shapes and they were different colors, too. And we had to use all of our shapes. We made pictures with them. I made a house. The windows were squares and the house was yellow and the roof was blue and I had a circle and I didn't know what to do with the circle so I put it on the middle of the roof.

Today in afternoon centers I went to art. We were going to make pumpkins, but the fire alarm went off so we're going to finish them tomorrow, because after the fire drill it was almost time to go home.

Today the firemen came to the school and we got a fire hat and a tattoo.

In music we played with scarves. Not scarves that you wear in the winter, but the different color scarves like the Penguins have in housekeeping. The music teacher would do something and then we would copy it. And then the kids got a turn to do whatever they wanted to do and they had to do it quick because their turns weren't very fast.

We started this thing yesterday and we have a book called scarecrow colors which I did yesterday and today I did something with acorns. We counted them to see how much had caps and how much didn't have caps. And I had six with caps and 1 without caps. And we put them in a bucket of water and we were going to see how many floated and how many sank. All of them floated. And on the sheet of paper where we counted acorns with caps and no caps there was a cup, but we didn't put water in it. It was an outline and we colored water in it. And we drew the acorns that floated in the bucket.

Today I went to Spanish and I saw Julio the puppet and he sang the Julio song."Me llamo Julio, Julio, Juliiiioooooo!"

[Ed. Note: After cajoling Peter to tell me (Jeff) something he did in his regular class instead of just reporting on his specials, he said] I made a book called Scarecrow Colors and I'm going to finish it at home.
